The Dell Vostro 1400 is a sleekly designed notebook. I am quite impressed with its relatively light weight and obvious features. There are 4 USB ports, an S-video port, Ethernet Network Card, Modem, screen output, two audio out ports and a microphone port, IEEE 1394 port, wireless card, SD/MMC Card Reader, and an option-switch to turn on or off wireless devices. The notebook also comes with an optional camera which has a crisp display. You are able to play multimedia and control the play, stop, etc. options from the panel. Volume control is also possible from the top.Windows Vista Basic is the pre-installed operating system. The processing power is an Intel Core

HP Pavilion dv9000z Entertainment Notebook PC

The new HP Pavilion dv9000z series laptop is quite the rage. I love how the web cam is integrated into the screen so that all you need to do is pull the screen up and look into the camera. Though I do not particularly have much experience with Windows Vista as yet, I like how it looks. The weight is not bad and the colour fits the sleek design. The features are great quite user-friendly.
The HP Pavilion dv9000z Entertainment Notebook PC has dual core processors from AMD and dual hard drives. The laptop is 17″ diagonally in size and is a multimedia powerhouse. The keyboard is full-sized and includes a numeric keypad, which is great for high-volume data entry as well as gaming.
I would give the HP Pavilion dv9000z series laptop a thumbs up!
