HTML and PHP Editor Software

There are many pieces of software on the market that can be used to write and edit HTML and PHP files. Some of the ones I have used include:

1. PHP Expert Editor
2. HapEdit
3. EvrSoft HTML Editor
4. Macromedia Dreamweaver

They are all good programs. I use PHP Expert Editor mostly when I am writing PHP pages, since it has a built-in engine that can execute the files from within itself (you must have PHP installed on your computer). Evrsoft has the ability to allow you to view the HTML file you are creating in real time. So as you code, you see exactly how the page looks as you go along. HapEdit is a stand-alone editor and as such I am able to carry it anywhere with me, on a jump drive or CD. Macromedia Dreamweaver is very powerful because you can actually design how you want you web pages to look and it automatically creates the HTML code for you. As you can see, they each have a strong point, and as such I use them all.

You can test them and see which suits you better. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

IPSWITCH WSFTP Professional FTP Client

FTP clients are numerous and offer the same basic features. I have used a number of them including Atomic FTP and Microsoft FrontPage. However, the best I have found so far is IPSWITCH WS_FTP Professional (or any other edition in the WS_FTP family for that matter). It is easy to use and very simple. From start to finish, setting up and using it poses no problems. This is because after you have installed it and then launched the application for the first time, it asks you for the information it needs to connect to your server.Here is how easy it is to use: You download the latest version. Then install it to your computer. You then have the option of launching it immediately after installation. Once launched, it asks you the type of protocol you want to use (obviously FTP, but SSH is also possible), your server address, user name and password, and a name for your site. FireFox Browser – User Friendly

If you are looking for a free web browser that is user-friendly and extremely easy to use, then you need to get Firefox. I have been using Firefox for a few years now and I am not the least bit disappointed in its performance. I am not saying that other browsers are not good but I have found Firefox to be what I want. The menus are simple and there are many options available that other browsers do not have. You should download and install it to see those differences as what each person sees as being different will differ. It is fully customizable and has a lot more features that Internet Explorer.

Anyhow, Firefox is updated quite regularly, so you need not worry about running an out-of-date browser. Try Firefox and see if it makes a difference in your browsing experience, just like it did my own.
